For a while now, Nutty Steph's founder Jaquelyn Rieke had been searching for a new oat to incorporate into our famous Vermont Granola, hoping to find an oat that was more sustainable, and grown closer to home.
After years of searching,
Jaquelyn discovered her ideal grain, which we now use in our Vermont Granola. While our original recipe has not changed, the power of the grain certainly has! Our new oats are organic, grown close by in Maine, and are dry rolled, a unique process that doesn't strip the oat of its natural properties, resulting in a more nutritious, flavorful oat.
We continue to bake our granola fresh each week and and still incorporate loads of whole walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds, packing each bite with maple toasted, nutty nutrition to fuel your day.
