This chocolate has that familiar slight bitterness but this bar has the perfect amount of salt that brings out the frutier parts of chocolate.... I've tried a fair amount of pricier chocolate bars and this has to be right up there with the best, I'm really not sure how someone could not like this unless you just aren't a fan of 70 percent dark chocolate with its flavor shining through with the salt.
I picked these up at the Cider Mill last time we visited VT... loved them. If a liberal amount means just the right amount then definitely go with the liberal amount of saltiness... it brings out the chocolate flavor and adds a little bit of crunch when I bite into the sea salt. Thank goodness these weren't free at the Cider Mill because an artesian's work is worth their time in pay. I'll definitely pick more up in the future.
I picked this up on a whim yesterday at Everyone's Books in Brattleboro. I must admit I left it on my desk at work today for all the right wingers to admire. Just tried a bit and was quite pleased - dark, slightly astringent, like a nice Rioja. The salt was a nice addition. The chocolate is strong enough that a bite is enough - which is what I love about dark chocolate. That, and it keeps the dementors away.

I'm eating one as I write this. It is so delicious—smooth and creamy with a warm blond color and sprinkled with sea salt. We make this solid bar with blond chocolate, a highly prized caramelized white chocolate developed in France. Its flavor tones suggest shortbread, and the sea salt sprinkled on back gives it a special bite. Our Salted Caramel bar won the prestigious Good Food Award in 2014, appropriately and officially ranking it among the best confections in the United States.
