Award-Winning Dulcey Truffle

It's no wonder this smooth and complex truffle was a 2021 Good Food Award winner for the best confections in the country. We developed this truffle after discovering a new type of blond chocolate from Valrhona, a forward-thinking chocolate manufacturer in France, called  "Dulcey" (pronounced "dull-see").

The Valrhona Dulcey chocolate, made from caramelized cocoa butter, sugar, and milk, starts out sweet, but once we've worked our magic, dark-chocolate fiends can't wait to sink their teeth in. We fold it in with local Vermont cream to create a ganache that's firm but creamy, then dip it into our Central American 70% dark chocolate and top it with coarse flakes of Maldon sea salt. 

Even kids love it. So do people who think they don't like truffles. And of course, our new Dulcey confection is beloved by truffle fans everywhere! 

Ingredients - Dulcey chocolate (cocoa butter, sugar, white milk powder, dried skim milk, whey, butter, soy lecithin, vanilla), organic Vermont heavy cream, 70% dark chocolate, sea salt crystals

Heavenly delight

The dulcey truffles are melt in your mouth great. The combination of lovely chocolates and just a bit of salt on top delights the whole pallet and its hard to stop at one... but why would you? I love these.

Rabble-Rouser is donating $1 per Chocolate Vulva sold to organizations on the frontline of the fight for reproductive justice and abortion access. The organization we are currently supporting, The Afiya Center is a Reproductive Justice Organization in North Texas founded and directed by Black Womxn. "At TAC we are transforming the lives, health, and overall well-being of Black Womxn and girls by providing refuge, education, and resources; we act to ignite the communal voices of Black Womxn resulting in our full achievement of reproductive freedom." 

Complete with an educational collectors card designed by Dutch illustrator Hilde Atalanta of The Vulva Gallery in collaboration with our Chocolate Vulva campaign, these beautiful confections are great for the office (well, most offices), friends, and wedding or baby showers; for women, men, girls, and everyone.

Yummy Maple Toffee With Pistachios on Top

I now give this as a hostess present and as a birthday gift to olders - it is always a hit! It’s just different enough - pretty in presentation and a sure fired hit! So it’s become my go to!

best candy ever!

I bought a box of this as a gift. I opened the box and ate one small piece to try it. Within two days I'd eaten the entire box. So I ordered a replacement -- and ended up eating that one, too. I don't even like sweets! I almost never eat candy or dessert in any form, not even tempted. But this is rich and crunchy and salty along with sweet. I've since ordered five more boxes because I want to give them to everyone. And I've stashed them out of view in a spare room so I don't end up eating them myself.

These were great. What's not to love?! My only thought was the maple sugar seemed a little 'harder' or more crystalized than usual - perhaps something about the process of dipping it in chocolate. Still very much enjoyed though!

Dark chocolate covered ginger

Good Gets Better

Everything is better with chocolate, especially if it is from Rabble Rouser, Candied ginger and dark chocolate are a winning combination. However, you need to eat at least two at time in order to get the full effect!

Delectible!

My husband gave me some of your chocolate for Valentine's Day, including the awesome maple brittle with pistachios. So when I went back for more, I added some of the chocolate covered ginger -- holy smokes, it is absolutely delicious!
